Good! Seeing as how you don't have any commissioners, the more you offer the better! Only start cutting back on what you'll do when you actually start getting bogged down. And you really shouldn't put that big list of stuff you will not do seeing as how desperate you are to get money. If you're not gonna do it because you have trouble with it, you should just say those are things you're not strong in drawing. You must be open to the possiblities!
Also, I find that showing my artwork to my mom's friends and friends of mine not from school works very nicely ;). You might like to give that a try.

I agree... Though I don't want to feel that I'm pushing people into commissioning. Plus a lot of my friends would not pay for this kind of stuff... (i.e. :iconmidnightsukioma:)

You gotta make your target audience people who either have access to excessive amounts of money, or people who are working for money.
And don't mention commissions, just show them what you can even do. They have to be interested to begin with, it won't do any good to tell some dude who's into cars and power tools that you'll draw a Pokemon if he pays for it.
Scout out your target audience before you even think about dropping prices. Just tell them how you had a piece of art in a restaurant, show them, tell them you've always been doing art and that you have lots of other stuff you've done like that, and then if they seem sufficiently interested start mentioning how you've sold your art at Kawaii Kon and stuff. Then tell them the kinds of things you sold there. Mainly just ease them into it and make it interesting. It's a lot easier to commit money to something if you know a little more about its background and history.
And most of all, even though you're talking about your art, make them the focus of it. It's their money getting them a picture of what they want!

Yeah. That's basic marketing. Anyway, I don't need people commissioning IRL. I actually prefer it to be anonymous. I don't plan on making this into a professional business or anything, I just want to earn something to help get me HG/SS. This is all good advice, but it's more for formal commissions like paintings and portraits.
