The updated version of my 2011 summary of art!

I have to say, that this has been one of the better years in terms of output! I think it is because I had so much more free time this semester since I was only taking 4 classes in college. Although, it did start to pick up towards October-December since it was time to wrap up the semester with finals and final projects and such.

January
A commission for a Roliana user. I did this with a faux watercolor style, which I wanted to do for awhile. I love watercolors, but I didn't want to have to do all the set up, sketch, and scanning processes.

February
I literally didn't do anything but chibis in February. How embarrassing. -_- I was attempting to gather enough money to build up a good amount of money in my Paypal via commissions that were dirt cheap, though I only ended up getting less than $15. I wanted to work up some rep and get more commissioners but, as you can see, no one here has money to throw at me.

March
The first of me thinking "what would it be like if I used that super thin lineart?" I used someone's technique to using Airbrush at 1px and that came out fairly well. The only thing about this is that it leaves a space between base colors and the line. :T

April
Sketchy sketchy. I really wanted this one item on Gaia that came out who knows when because Gaia is releasing a gajillion items all at once.

I really love 's style and wanted to try to replicate it. It came out looking awesome, but I can't really understand how she does it.

June
My Pokemon Black winning team! This was from seeing all these other people on DA drawing their team and me being ambitious since I didn't have the prettiest team. -_- I kinda wish that I drew my current team instead since they mean more to me than my winning one.

July
's kiriban prize, 2 years late. lol It was a great time to do it since it was during the time when I had nothing better to do after coming home at 12pm from summer school. Also, around this time, I started using the pen @ 2px, which I have come to like to use now...

August
Amazingly, this was the first time I ever drew a subject with a background! It was quite interesting to have to build a space around the subject rather than them floating in a spacious white void.

September
During the summer, another pass-time I got into was watching Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt. I mostly started watching that anime/cartoon because of the many fanart submissions on DA featuring the Anarchy duo. I watched the first episode and kept at it. This is also the case with MLP.

October
The first time I ever got a Halloween submission out on time! My other attempt last year was scrapped since I pretty much forgot about it and didn't ever finish it. Another picture complete with subjects and a background!

November
I did practically nothing this month. The koala tea was just done out of whim and didn't do much after that. I also was working on the Hipster Holidays around now and didn't want to submit it until December so I held off on those until after Christmas.

December
The Hipster Holidays are here! I'm kinda nervous because deadlines are on my tail until the end. I still have to draw the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th day for the Hipster Holidays which I hope will get in on the specified days!

and ON TO 2012! I HOPE WE DON'T DIE!
